Mulhollands fall at final hurdle

THE St Joseph’s father and son pairing of Con and Neil Mulholland fell at the final hurdle in the Eglantine Indoor Bowling Club Open Pairs competition on Saturday night.

Following a good run they just missed out in the decider against the Louth Bowling Club pair of Paul Duff and Andrea Flanagan.

The section winners were: Monday, Paul Duff and Andrea Flanagan and John Carson and Enus Hamilton.

Tuesday, Sean Trainor and Sean Breen and John Murnahan and Paddy Hanlon.

Wednesday, Con and Neil Mulholland and John Mackey and Karen Ellison.

Friday, Collette Campbell and Anne McKeever and R. and M. Hastings.

John Carson
