Larne Borough Council is set to host the Ulster Sports Museum’s travelling exhibition when it officially opens at the leisure centre next Monday (January 9).

The exhibition will showcase both local sporting talent and memorabilia donated by personalities. It is designed to celebrate and highlight the sporting achievements of Ulster sportsmen and women, past and present.

Among those featured are football legend George Best, rugby great Jack Kyle on the rugby field, gold medal Olympian Mary Peters and the Sam Maguire-winning Ulster teams.
