Quins fought back winning a penalty corner which was cleared wide by Sammy-Jo Greer. At half time the score was 0-0.

The Toon started the second half well with Ballymoney working tirelessly all over the pitch looking for the final connection to convert.

Fast attacking hockey from both sides led to many goal mouth chances, majority falling to the Toon. A lack of concentration from Ballymoney opened a window of opportunity for Quins. Taking their chances, Quins won a penalty corner and a drag from the top of the circle resulted in the ball hitting the back board.

As the match came to a close, the final score was Quins 1-Ballymoney 0.
