Netball: Cookstown High girls win the gold

Seven teams were involved in the competition. Those involved included Fivemiletown, Omagh High School, Drumglass, Holy Trinity, Integrated College Dungannon and Cookstown High School.

All teams had to play in a round robin competition in which Cookstown ‘A’ squad won all but one of their games.

They had to face Drumglass in the semi-final and won 4-3.

They then had to play Integrated College Dungannon in the final.

After a well contested game, Cookstown finished as gold medal winners.

Well done to all Year 8 netballers who were involved in yet another successful tournament.
