New look IFA website

THE new look www.irishfa.com is now live. The website which was designed by Belfast based company Tibus has gone through a major facelift following feedback from fans and a number of consultancy reports which analysed its internet presence.

The new site delivers much more in terms of video content and integration with the various online social networking sites (Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and Bebo), yet it still retains content on the main elements of our game namely international, domestic and grassroots football.

Supporters can read the latest news articles from all levels of football in Northern Ireland; while through the Irish FA TV platform they can view news, views and feature videos as well as highlights from previous internationals.

In addition, the online shop has gone through a major change employing the latest in e-Commerce functionality which will enhance the user experience; while through the tickets section, supporters can create an account/log in to their current account to apply for tickets when they become available.

Fans can also sign-up for the Irish FA newsletter to receive the latest news from the Association on ticketing, match information, special shop offers and much, much more; and also a monthly ezine with various interviews and features.

A supporters’ section with special features and articles will go live later this month when the Association launches NI Fans, NI Fans Plus and NI Fans Junior.

Irish FA Head of Marketing and Communications, Geoff Wilson said: “The redevelopment of our website has been a major project for the Association taking approximately six months from the tender process to actual delivery.

“We have focused on delivering a ‘world class’ website that all the football family in Northern Ireland can be proud of.
