New season beckons for darts league

the Larne and District Ladies’ Darts League has announced that this season, local charities Roddensvale School and Larne Adult Centre, will each benefit to the tune of £250.

The season starts today (Tuesday, September 4) with 15 teams but two name changes. Eagle will play their home matches in the No 1 Club and be known as No 1 Eagles while Larne Football SC will play in the Legion and be known as Legion Wings.

Fixtures for Tuesday, September 4: Legion Wings v Ponderosa, No 1 Eagles v St Comgall’s, United v Thatch, Gers v Fleet Ladies, St John’s v Tech, Rangers v Legion and Pigeon Ladies v No 1 Ladies. Bye: Ballylumford
