New tourney a success
A NEW under nine tournament organised by Lurgan Town proved to be a great success.
The basic idea of the tournament was to get an tournament organised for the youngsters where they could play some different teams other than those they already play against in their games development centre.
Said a Lurgan Town spokesman: “It was also to raise the profile of the club. We get a draw from all sides of the community and our focus is on developing players.”
