NFU Mutual road race and fun run on Friday July 26

Organisers, Ballymoney Sports Development Unit in partnership with Springwell Running Club are again indebted to NFU Mutual who are sponsoring this tremendous event for the forth time.

The 5 mile road race begins at 7pm with 14 individual categories incorporated into the main race this year.

The full list of categories are as follows:

Open male and female, veterans section for males over 35, 40, 45, 50 and 60,

Veterans sections for females over 35, 40, 45, 50, 55,and 60,.

Junior race for male and female15+ and wheelchair race for male and females.

The race has attracted great numbers in past years with 150 finishers in 2012 and this year should be no different with enquiries already received from all over the province.

Prior to the main event, the children’s fun run will take place at 6.15pm again at the Joey Dunlop Leisure Centre.

The race will take place in the grounds of the centre and is open to anyone aged 8 -14. 8 – 11year olds run 1000 mtrs and 12 – 14 year olds run 1500 mtrs

Please note that entry costs £3-00 per child and NO entries will be accepted without a Parental/Guardian consent form being completed.
