The P6 lad from Randalstown Central Primary School can now look forward to another crack at the World Championships having reached the quarter finals in last year’s event, held in Taranto, Italy.

Robbie still has 2 more years left in the U12 age category and with two Northern Ireland Titles already under his belt the future looks bright for the young fighter.

Also competing in Claudy in the Womens -70kg section was Cullybackey lady Angela Swan.

Having already picked up a well deserved silver medal at the WKC World Championships in Italy, Angela was determined to secure the gold this time out.
