Nicholl’s side cruise to victory

CITY of Derry started their competitive season in style when they comprehensively defeated Ards 36-8, in their Ulster League fixture, at Judges Road, on Saturday.

Derry secured a bonus point victory to give new head coach Mark Nicholl and his assistant Ashley Blair the perfect start to their tenure following the departure of the club’s most successful coach Bevan Lynch.
