Nine make it through in the NorthernIreland qualifiers

The league matches make a welcome return this Thursday after a fortnight break but there was still plenty of action around with Clann Eireann hosting last weeks Northern Ireland Individual qualifiers .

Forty players from the Craigavon District Darts League trying to gain one of the nine spots available and get the chance to take on the best players from around the country on January 18th in Derry.

The format this year was best of seven legs so there was no hard luck stories and excuses for anyone and at the end of the night the lucky nine players were John Cinnamond, Adrian Hutchinson, Nathan McCabe, Eamon Duff, Stephen Duff, Keith Beale, Chris Cinnamond, Rab Lewis and Jamesy Bolton.

The fixtures this week will see runaway league leaders The Vintage host the Stables. Clann Eireann are at home to the Celtic, Trojans will play Eire Og and last years champions Drumgor will travel to North Street to take on the Forresters.
