No u-turn says Grimley

ARMAGH manager Paul Grimley said he won’t be making a u-turn on his sides tactics following Armagh’s defeat last Sunday at the hands of Cavan in the preliminary round of the Ulster championship.

Grimley who has brought a new attacking ethos to his side stressed after last weekends defeat that the status quo would be maintained.

“I was tempted to go back to the sweeper system but this is the way we have been working for the last six months and I said to the boys there wouldn’t be much to me if I changed our tactics after 35 minutes,” said the Armagh boss. “People might say we were tactically naive today but that is the way we are going to play.”

Supporters can be re assured that the Pearse Ogs man will leave no stone unturned in his attempt to reinvent Armagh’s fortunes.
