Norman along with six other riders took part in the Trail Ride on Saturday, 8th August at the RDS with family, friends and visitors there to cheer him on.

The Trail Ride is being held as part of the display by riders from the RDA’s (NI) sister organisation in the south, Riding for the Disabled Association Ireland (RDAI).

Norman has been invited to participate as the RDA (NI) representative due to the long-standing links and co-operation between the two organisations whose main focus is to broaden the physical, intellectual and social horizons of people with special needs.

Norman’s instructor Shirley Lee said that Norman has been riding for the past two and a half years with the group and has a Grade 1 riding and is looking forward to working towards his Grade 2 and an Endeavour Award when the local group resumes activities in September.
