North Eastern Zone Finals Night

THE North Eastern zone finals night was held on Thursday 28 January in Carey Hall.

There were some very closely contested matches and overall it was a very enjoyable evenings bowling.

At the end of the evening the convenor Hugh McCallum thanked all the competitors for taking part in all the competitions and encouraged more to take part next year. He thanked all who had helped if the play-offs in the various halls as well as tonight – Tommy Smith, John Gault, Rose Gault and Jean Sharpe. He thanked Carey for the use of their hall for the finals and the ladies for the supper and the umpires for the evening – Alastair Kirkpatrick and Jack McCurdy.

He wished all those who had qualified for the Stonebridge National playoffs in March every success
