North West Pairs and Fours progress to final stages

The North West Championship play-offs continued last week with both the open pairs and fours competitions progressing to the finals stage.

The pairs were played at Moneydig and the two pairs coming through to the final were Alistair McIntyre and Rodney Kane (Dunluce Par.) who will play Declan McCann and Kevin McNamee (St. Mary’s).

Ballybrakes Stadium hosted the fours tournament.

The two rinks going to the finals are Elma Irwin, Edwin Irwin, Nigel Gamble and Ian Ross (Loughanreagh) who will meet Mathew Steen, Kevin McNamee, David Gaile and Declan McCann (St. Mary’s) in the decider.

Finals night will be held in Loughanreagh, on Wednesday 16th March with games starting at 7.15pm.

Dress code will be whites and greys or Club colours.

The committee of the North West Indoor Bowling League would like to thank Moneydig, Dunloy Presbyterian and Ballybrakes’ members for the use of their premises to enable the play-offs to take place.
