A lengthy lunch break

One tenant was complaining about the length of time it was taking a contractor to complete house repairs.

According to the tenant workmen arrived one morning and started on the job.

Nearing 1pm they said they would return after lunch. That was two months ago and they hadn’t been back since.

Mr G McCartney said all contractors were the same - it was nearly impossible to get them to finish a job.

Architect, Mr Jackson Blakely, said the trouble was that there were two few contractors chasing too much work.
