Award winning band head for US
The award winning St Mary’s Pipe Band from Derrytrasna headed for the USA in 1994 to take part in the annual St Patrick’s Day celebrations.
The 25 members had been invited to the city of Savannah in the state of Georgia for the festivities which were to run from March 12 to March 17.
It was the third time the band had made the trip to Savannah.
