Carnfunnock top attraction
Carnfunnock Country Park has been awarded the large visitor attraction of the year award at a recent Ni4Kids awards ceremony at Belfast City Hall.
Mid and East Antrim Borough Council was represented at the event by Cllr Andrew Wilson, chairman of the Operations Committee.
Cllr Wilson, who received the award on behalf of council, said: “The award is a great accolade for Carnfunnock which fought off stiff competition from all over Northern Ireland to be shortlisted for the award alongside W5 and the Giants Causeway.”
