Colourful parade for St Patrick

There was a great turn out for the annual St Patrick’s Day parade in 1997.

Organised by the Charles Russell branch of the Irish National Foresters the parade was led by a full compliment of officers.

The body of the colourful parade was made up of the St Oliver Plunkett Guides, Brownies, Scouts and Cubs.

The ranks were swelled by young members from local GAA clubs including St Peter’s, St Paul’s and Clan na Gael wearing their team colours.
