Donacloney school PTA hands over gifts

AT 1982’s annual meeting of Donacloney Primary School’s Parent Teacher Association, chairman, Mr. Bobbie Ingram, presented the school with an electric typewriter and a new projector.

Mr. Ingram, presiding, first welcomed the large number of teachers and parents attending.

Secretary, Mrs. E. Cousins and treasurer, Mrs. Norma Carswell, delivered encouraging reports in relation to the work done during the previous school year.

Vice-Principal, Mrs. E. Martin - deputising, due to illness, for Principal Mr. G. Garstin - accepted the Association’s gifts on behalf of the school.

She returned thanks on behalf of the teaching staff.
