Hillsborough Council supports road plan
In December 1958, Hillsborough Rural Council agreed to support a resolution from Ballycastle Rural Council calling on the Minister of Commerce to initiate an intensive study by a body of experts on the high rate of road accidents in Northern Ireland.
It was suggested particular attention should be paid to the incidence of accidents due to alcohol and irresponsible youths.
