Hoax alert at school

In December 1969, It was the beginning of Safety week so when the word got around there was a bomb in the school pupils at Lisburn Technical College were not at all perturbed. They even joined in the search for the bomb each classroom being methodically checked. But this was no general practice. The general on Tuesday was for REAL! An anonymous telephone call to Lisburn Police Station had sent police officers to the school in a hurry.

The call was traced to a call box in Lisburn. But after a rigorous search, the entire thing was found to be a hoax.
