Lesser Spotted Ulster visits Park

The new series of UTV’s Lesser Spotted Ulster continues this Monday 20th August at 8pm when Joe Mahon explores the foothills of the Sperrins, tracing the course of the River Faughan down to the village of Park in the parish of Learmount.

Here he learns the history of Quigley’s Mill which brought the village into the 20th century.

Joe said: “As everyone who watches this series knows, it’s the people we meet along the way who are the real stars of Lesser Spotted Ulster.

“We’ve extended the number of programmes in this new series to 20 - meaning that we can visit even more of Ulster’s fascinating nooks and crannies.

“It’s hard to believe - but in this new run, I’m still visiting places I’ve never been before!

“In Park, I discover a golf course built around a Bronze Age wedge tomb and take to the saddle - ‘western style’ - at Gilkey Ranch.”

Lesser Spotted Ulster: Monday 20th August at 8.00pm on UTV.
