Norman gets top club honour

Lurgan Rotary Club member Norman McAlister was pleasantly surprised one Monday night in 1997 when he was presented with the organisation’s top honour.

He received the Paul Harris Award in recognition of his service with the Lurgan club.

The guest speaker was Mr John Whelan, the District Foundation Chairman, who is pictured, left, presenting Norman with his award. Also in the picture are Leslie Anderson, Chairman, and President, Frank McKeown.
