Nostalgia: In party mood for Silver Jubilee

Lurgan got into the party mood in June 2002 to mark the Queen’s Silver Jubilee.

There were three street parties in Mourneview over the weekend with one at Princeton Drive on Saturday keeping everyone entertained.

Two more followed in the area on Monday with a fancy dress parade at the community centre and a party at Hannon Drive.

Dollingstown also got in on the act with around 300 residents turning out for a street party.
