Nostalgia: Knocknamuckley BB are volleyball champions
Knocknamuckley Boys Brigade won the British National Volleyball Championship in 1985.
After qualifying for the final stages in England the team defeated the favourites, Second Hamilton in the semi final then 101st Glasgow in the final.
The team consisted of Nigel Johnston, captain, John Martin, John McIlwaine, Paul Uprichard, Sam Whitty, Keith Percy and substitutes Mark Vaughan and Keith Allen.
