Nostalgia: Prep pupils in the prizes
Pupils from Lurgan College Prep were in the prizes during a ski trip in the Austrian Alps in 1985.
On the last day of the trip all of the pupils competed in the slalom race. Wayne McCrory won the gold medal and the top Austrian ski award for his overall performance while Robin Kane took silver and Philip Clarke the bronze. In the intermediate group Maria Devlin received the gold medal and in the beginners section Elaine McCready was specially commended and presented with a badge.
