CRAIGAVON Museum will be hosting an intriguing railway exhibition at Waterside House this summer and they’re appealing for any history buffs throughout the Borough with information, memories, or memorabilia associated with the steam railways of yesteryear to contact the Museum.

Visitors can delve into the area’s unique railway history at the exhibition which runs from July 16 – August 29 and provides a glimpse of the rich railway heritage of the area, with a particular focus on the steam railway excursions from Portadown and Lurgan to holiday destinations such as Bangor, Newcastle, Warrenpoint and Bundoran in years gone by.
