Partnered by Gary McCollum in the mixed doubles Jo gave another great display and was unlucky to finish with a runners-up medal.

The biggest upset came when Norma Lynch and Meta Crozier beat the favourites for the ‘A’ section ladies title.

And the same pair reached the final of the Moyraverty tournament only to fall at the last hurdle.

Meanwhile in the mixed doubles Norma and Meta, partnered by Garney Coulter and Harry Quail, reached the semi-finals.
