Thompson House gets a Surprise visitor

Health and Social Services Minister Richard Needham paid a surprise visit to Thompson House Hospital in 1987.

Mr Needham spent over an hour chatting with some of the 54 residents who suffer from disabilities neurological conditions including Multiple Sclerosis. He was given an extensive tour of the building and shown some facilities including physiotherapy and occupational therapy support services, a tour of the sitting rooms and the hairdressing salon.
