Trail of destruction in lisburn and dunmurry

Explosions in the Lisburn and Dunmurry areas left a trail of destruction in 1971.

The Ulster Star of December 4 that year reported no-one was hurt in the blasts at the Colinwell Concrete Company, the Limmer and Trinidad readymix concrete plant, the Amalgamated Asphalt Company, the Black Swan licensed premises and the DoE offices at Black’s Road, Dunmurry, but damage running into thousands of pounds was caused.
