Old Bleach bowlers ready for new season

Members of Old Bleach Bowling Club are preparing for the start of the new outdoor bowls season.

The Neillsbrook-based club recently held its annual opening ceremony, attended by a good turnout of club members.

There was a poignant moment as club President Fred Anderson presented Mrs Karen Magrath with a past president badge, on behalf of her late husband Bryan, who sadly passed away during his year as president.
