The golfing prodigy from Scarva is off to take part in the much-acclaimed BMW Championship Pro-Am at Wentworth tomorrow (Wednesday).

She will tee it up alongside former Ryder Cup winning captain Paul McGinley as well as ex Westlife star Brian McFadden.

Olivia qualified for the popular event by winning the Telegraph BMW Junior Golf last season. The final member of her fourball will be Jamie Li, the Englishman who won the boys’ event in Portugal.

Styled as the ‘Celebrity Pro Am,’ does this now mean Olivia is approaching the A List?

“I don’t know about that,” she said. “It will be nice to play with no pressure though and meet all the other people playing.

“On Thursday, I’m heading down to Woburn with my coach to do some practice for the British Open.”

Also teeing it up at the Pro Am will be the likes of Alan Shearer, Robbie Fowler, Sir AP McCoy, Jamie Redknapp, Gianfranco Zola, Brian Lara and Sir Steve Redgrave. And that’s not to mention the world class professional field.
