Olympic dream for Aoibhin

The games are being held at the Olympic Stadium London, where Aoibhin will be competing in the long jump.

Aoibhin, a three time Irish Champion, can’t believe that she will be competing on the Olympic track before Usian Bolt and other Olympic Champions get the chance to do so.

Aoibhin is excited about getting the chance to compete in front of 30,000 people at the Olympic Stadium and she is honoured at getting the chance.

The Lismore pupil recently took part in the All Ireland Young Athletics League in Nenagh, County Tipperary, winning a silver in the long jump and gold in the shot put event.
