On their bike for a great cause

On Saturday 30th November members of Causeway CC used their Saturday club cycle to raise funds for Causeway Hospital to recognise the excellent care that they recently provided for Mollie Clarke, daughter of two of their founding members.

A couple of months ago Mollie was diagnosed with a serious form of cancer and received treatment from Causeway Hospital and, thanks to this treatment, Mollie is now well on her way to a full recovery.

Causeway CC members decided to use their club cycle to donate and they were joined by members from other local clubs, including Bann Wheelers.

Causeway CC would like to thank the Coleraine Blind Centre who kindly provided refreshments after the cycle.

A superb total of £1000 was raised for Causeway Hospital with club committee member, Lindsay Clarke said he was “overwhelmed with the generosity of his fellow club members and was extremely proud to be associated with Causeway CC.”
