Allen Park was again in very good condition for the second final in three days and both teams started off well by playing the ball on the ground.

The first real chance in the game led to the first goal when Conor McKinley made a great run through the Ballynure defence before scoring with a low shot on the 12th minute.

Dunloy then had another good chance on the 21st minute when a goal bound header from Conor McKinley was cleared off the line by a Ballynure defender on the 21st minute.

Ballynure then put a few food passes together and when Richard Chambers made a good run before crossing the ball into the Dunloy penalty box the chance went begging on the 23rd minute with the Dunloy defence caught out.

Dunloy pushed forward again and John John McFerran was unlucky with shot on the 27th minute which went narrowly past the post. Half-time was almost reached when Ballynure had another half-chance but at the break the single goal separated the teams.

Ballynure pressed forward at the start of the second half and almost got the equaliser in a goal mouth scramble but Dunloy fortunately got the ball clear then on the 63rd minute Jonny McAleese took a corner for Dunloy which a Ballynure player headed into his own net in an attempt to clear.

Ballynure then got on the score sheet on the 73rd minute and what a goal from a free kick struck by Mark Leckey from 25 yards out. Time was then running down when a Dunloy defender got himself sent off for throwing the ball away and receiving a second yellow card.

Ballynure then threw everyone forward in an effort to get the equaliser but got caught with Benny McGarry making good ground on the right wing before sending over the prefect cross for Conor McKinley score his second goal with a superb header and ensure the cup for Dunloy with the game going into stoppage time.
