Dunbarton A 100 (7pts) v NICS A 68 (0pts)

The Dunbarton A team made it three wins out of three with a 32 shot defeat of NICS on Tuesday night and most importantly, maximum points! However they did not have it their own way at all and had to battle hard. Two of the home foursomes led by Jack A Moffett and DJ Wilson led from start to finish and won comfortably by 14 and 13 shots respectively. However on the other two rinks, the visitors were determined not to lose their points. Conor McCartan's four faced an 8-15 deficit at the two thirds mark and were in real danger of losing their point. While on the other middle rink, Barry Browne's four were three down with four ends to go and also in trouble. Thankfully both home rinks held their never and finished strongly. Barry won his last four ends scoring 3,1,1,3 for a hard fought 5 shot win. Whilst Conor was 2 down going into the last end but picked up a vital three for a one shot success. Overall this was a crucial 7 point success against one of the lowest ranked teams in the league.
