Pairs event starts on Wednesday

ENTRIES are still being taken for the inaugural County Antrim Open Pairs tournament, which begins this Wednesday night.

The competition, hosted by County Antrim Indoor Bowling Club, in conjunction with Antrim Lawn Bowling Club, will be held at the Jim Baker Stadium from Wednesday, February 22, through to Saturday, February 25.

The competition will see a prize fund exceeding £500 thanks to sponsorship from Bairds Funeral Service, NFU Mutual, FL Amusements and Stephen Coleman Building and Joinery Services.

Qualifying nights will be held at 7.30pm on Wednesday 22nd, Thursday 23rd and Friday 24th February with a further two morning/afternoon qualifying sessions on Saturday 25th February. Finals will then be held on the evening of Saturday 25th February at 7pm.

The cost of entry is £5 per pair.
