Parkview are frozen out
PARKVIEW Ladies' two teams were idle at the weekend owing to frozen pitches in Carrickfergus and Coleraine
The seniors were due to be away to Carrick Ladies for a Senior League Section 2 clash, while Karen Manson's 2nd XI had hoped to be in Coleraine to fulfil a Junior league Section 5 fixture.
This weekend both will be involved in cup action. The seniors will have home advantage at Foundry Lane against either Ballymoney II or Lurgan II in the first round of the Qualifying Plate.
The 2nd XI also have home advantage against Lisnagarvey V in the second round of the Junior Plate, and this one will be staged either in Doagh, or on the gravel surface at Ballyclare High School.
