Although the Doagh girls did most of the attacking the visitors defended stubbornly, and earned a division of the spoils in a scoreless draw.

With regular goalkeeper Sharon Gaffney unavailable, the club’s utility player, Jenny Wallace, donned the pads, but really had little to do.

Enniskillen were limited to sporadic counter-attacks, and then found that defenders Wilma McCullough, Emma Stubbs, Jenny Lewis and Clare McClean were giving nothing away.

Sisters Victoria and Rachael Campbell in their first senior outing together fitted in well, with Rachael linking up effectively with Nikki Turkington up front.

Enniskillen managed to force just one penalty corner in the first half, and this failed to produce a goal, as did a couple at the opposite end.

After the interval with Norma Donaldson, Cathy Morrow and Lauren Brady prominent in midfield, the hosts continued to dominate, forcing no fewer than six penalty corners, but despite the efforts of Stubbs and McClean all were successfully defended against.

Parkview almost snatched the winner, but shots by Turkington and McClean were cleared off the line. The draw leaves Parkview in a mid-table position in Senior League Section 3 with four points from three starts.
