Paul Wylie is a top class golfer and a keen supporter of the Sunday Sweep.

It came as a surprise to learn that the last time Paul won this particular sweep was away back at the end of August 2014. Let’s hope that it won’t be as long until his next win.

2nd- Eamon McAnarney (12) Nett 37.

3rd- Kieran McGreevey (24) Nett 37.5.

Mel Hylands’ season is “up and running” after an impressive little win in the Thursday Sweep.

Mel played the 14 holes in 4 over par and that pleased him immensely. Now he has his eye on winning a major.

1st- Mel Hylands (11) 33 points.

2nd- Philip Strong (21) 31 points.

THURSDAY OPEN

Gerry McBrien (21) has just enjoyed one of the best weeks of his golfing career. Gerry scored 39 points last Thursday and followed that with 40 points on Saturday.

He finished out of the prizes on Saturday but managed to win the Thursday Open Stableford contest.

Shane Crossan (14) was runner-up with 38 points.

Andrew Burns (16) was third with 37 points.

“Mr. Consistency”, Kieran Magennis (6), won the best gross prize with a 75.

Michael Beattie, now a member of Mannan Castle, took home the twos pot.
