Paul Stewart is aiming to take his exploits in the sport to a new level when he competes in the famous Mr Universe competition later in the year.

It follows on from his recent success when he was named as Mr Britain in the National Amateur Body Builders’ Association championships in England.

Paul competed and won both his height class and the overall title at the NABBA Mr Britain finals in Southport.

It is an even more remarkable achievement as the judges usually vote one of the larger class winners the overall title but on this occasion, Paul’s superb condition saw him named as the top competitor.

Paul, who qualified for the British finals by winning the Mr Northern Ireland event earlier this year, said: “Winning has much more meaning when the competition was as fierce as this.”
