Well, Phyllis Galloway is certainly smiling this Christmas as the Harryville resident won the Sports Bond Jackpot of £550.

Promoter Brian Thompson summed it up, Sports Bond as a community lottery throws up many splendid stories. Phyllis, used to be a volunteer at the Showgrounds with the splendid St John’s Ambulance.

It is great a senior citizen gets £550 for Christmas, we just wish we could give them all a bonus at this time. Congratulations also to agent Janice Power who will receive a healthy bonus of £55 for Phyllis’ win.

This week proves that while large agencies have been to the fore in the past few weeks a smaller agency like that of Janice’s can have their day of glory.

To Phyllis and Janice may you have a very happy Christmas.

Phyllis was the only ‘B’ membership to win this week, all the rest were ‘A’ members. Agent of the week was Luke Gaston with a £50 major win for work mate William Dickey Jn (A1972) and a £10 win for Derek McCully (A8110) of Rathmore Heights. George Caldwell (A5713) was a £50 major winner on the agency of Chris Thompson. George is a previous multiple winner. Another week and another win for Maurice Anderson.

The Gracehill agent just continues to sweep all before him. This week his major winner was Olive McClean (A1081), for Olive it was her first ever win and we hope it is the first of many.

Bangor resident Ryan Hay (A8348) was a £10 winner on the agency of P Thompson. Colin Graham had a magic member win with Denise Stewart (A9798) and wins a £10 for himself.

For the record Phyllis Galloway’s winning Jackpot numbers were 2, 5,6,15. Who will be the next Jackpot winner?
