PICTURE SPECIAL: City of Belfast Golf Club Captain's Day

The weather was beautiful, the course looked in immaculate condition and the extensive preparations provided everyone with the opportunity to play their best golf.

The overall winner was Duncan Elder with 44 pts, while Darran Long (41 pts) took second place and the best gross prize. Third was Brian Anderson (38 pts), and Gerry Kelly was best visitor.

During the prize presentation dinner at the Chimney Corner Hotel, Paul thanked everyone who helped organise and run the successful Captain's Day competition, particularly all those who helped with catering and volutneered their services to help raise funds for the club's chosen charity, the NSPCC.
