Pienaar set to launch Carrick Sevens

Ulster star Ruan Pienaar will this week help launch the 2013 Guinness Carrick Sevens alongside Irish rugby legend, Willie-John McBride.

Pienaar, a South Africa international, will be at the home of Carrick Rugby Club, Tom Simms Memorial Park, on Wednesday (March 13).

Around 50 teams are expected to take part in the annual Sevens event in May, with a large number of the sides travelling from England and Scotland.
