IN the second race from Roscrea it was another close finish in the Coleraine Triangle Leslie Madden won 1st Coleraine Premier doing velocity 1132 and in different conditions has the best bird for the second week. Hanson & Harper from the same club were runner-up followed by Horner & Scott 1st Windsor Social (1126) and Terence McCrudden 1st Coleraine & Co Derry (1119).

Race four was another afternoon release, the NIPA birds returned to Roscrea in Co Tipperary and liberated at 1.15pm in a west, north west wind. It turned out a bit more difficult than the week previous and despite a very good evening a number of birds were missing at night. Simon Millar who just started racing in 2006 had the best birds locally in Mid Antrim, two arrivals at 4.36pm filled the top two places in MAC.

The winner Van De Were/Soontjen lines a Dark Cheq hen was the best from good friend Timmy Mawhinney, the second bird a Blue hen was Hartog of A & M Kerr. Both birds were doing velocity 1225 flying 140 miles. Simon is having a best ever season in the Premier OB Nat from St Malo he topped both Comb & Sect and finish 6th Open NIPA. Surgenor brow won for the third time in Kells & Dist followed by McFarlane & Agnew and Allen McBride returned to winning ways in Harryville followed by Roy Clements.
