Pigeon racing: Monster Show

Larne and District HPS’ annual Monster Show is set to take place on Saturday, November 24.

Pennings are scheduled from 10am to 1pm, while judging will run from 2pm to 5pm. The Prize Distribution is set for 5.30pm.

The entry fee is £1 per bird and there will be six classes: Old Cocks, Old Hens, Young Cocks, Young Hens, Old and Young Bird Eyesign.

The prize for Best In Show is £100 and £50 for Best Opposite Sex.

There will also be a Monster Show Auction when a select draft of youngsters donated by local fanciers will be on offer. On top of that, there will be £1,000 in prize money to be raced for from Rosscarberry (or equivalent race) and it’s Open To All NIPA members.
