The birds were back at Monaghan for the second Hot Spot race liberated on Sunday at 1.00pm in a slight North wind. The weather was perfect, bright and high cloud with the sun breaking through. The birds cleared very well and thanks again to the members of Monaghan HPS who assisted at the liberation.

At the closure of the ETS system 423 birds had arrived to the loft. 439 were liberated. Seven injured birds were retained in the loft and owners were notified.

First place was taken by No Mercy Venture. This results in 2nd onwards being paid the prizemoney. Congratulations to D & P Harvey, who took first place.

Result: 1st place: No Mercy Venture. 2nd place: 250 D & P Harvey. 3rd place: 150 Delboys. 4th place: 100 MacstewSynd/Belgavet. 5th place: 75 Armstrong &McCrudden. 6th place: 75 Wigston Fields FC.
