Pigeons: North Coast Classic flown from Monaghan

The opening Hot Spot for the Coleraine based North Coast Classic was flown from Monaghan on Sunday 25th July, birds were released at 1.00pm in a light north-west wind.

It was reported birds were slow to clear, weather conditions on the route were favourable.

Many thanks to the fancy in Monaghan who assisted with the liberation. Around 50 birds arrived in the first batch after which the weather deteriorated to low cloud and a heavy drizzle, despite that over 400 birds were recorded at the closure of the ETS.
