Places still up for grabs for Wilkies Classic run/walk

Foyle Valley’s annual run/walk in memory of their late colleague Colm Wilkinson takes place on Thursday May 21, at 7.30pm.

The course for both will be the same as previous years, along the cycle path by the River Foyle at Brandywell.

The 5 mile run is an accurately measured, flat and fast course which will appeal to both the serious runner and fun runner alike.

Registration for the event opens at 6pm at the Long Tower Youth Centre which is beside the Brandywell Stadium. Both the walk and run will be set off at 7.30pm along the traffic free routes. Please allow 15 minutes to walk from the youth centre to the start area along the cycle path.

Entry fee of £10 will include a quality technical tee-shirt for the first 120.

Prizes will be awarded for the categories in the run only and all money raised will be distributed between local charities.
